Media alludes to the communication channels through which we disperse news, music, movies, education, particular messages, and other information. It incorporates print, broadcast, outdoor and online media such as newspapers, magazines, television, radio, billboards, internet-based websites, and blogs. This is essay will educate the reader about the media use for the appropriate situation, Men and Television and using a newspaper article to change the message.
I use a software recording application called audacity to record my news story as a radio piece. Yes, the radio was the appropriate media for this situation because I could share my news story with families. The families were able to hear and receive the information clearly from Mrs. Bambie Hayes – Brown on assisting them to receive money to pay their rent or mortgage due to losing their jobs to the COVID- 19 pandemic or to a reduction.
If I were addressing men, I would use television because men watch television more than women. Men watch television because it is fascinating if men did not work during the day; they would most likely go through the whole day watching television. They find watching television more relaxing and helps them to escape from the busyness of life. The changes I would make for television for men would I make the news topic more exciting and informative where they would want to watch it. Men would not want the news topic to be too long, so; the news topic would be short, straightforward, and to the point. I would interview my guest on camera, so my male audience will know who the guest is and what the guest looks like put up pictures of the news topic. This will affect men significantly because they will receive the news promptly and straightforwardly. Another effect would be visual because men are visual learners; they learn by seeing with their eyes.
Newspapers articles give general information and knowledge to the general public. I would use a newspaper article to change the message for this assignment. The changes I would make are to use a headline that summarizes the message. I would use a drophead that is a secondary headline that gives extra information about the message. I would use a byline where my name would appear at the beginning of the article. I use the dateline with the two elements of the place’s name, from where the message began and the date on which it was written. The message would have a lead that gives the most critical information. I would have the message to provide extra information. Break it down into small paragraphs. There will be a picture to make the message to be more precise or fascinating. I would end the message with a conclusion summarizing everything the message is about and leaving the general public with the last impassion. I think the effects of the message changes in a newspaper article would be excellent because the general public would understand the message, receive what the message is saying in the article, gain knowledge from the message. So, the message will capture the attention and the interest of the general public.
